Russia returns to volleyball: FIVB reinstates Russian players, Poland may boycott

Following the International Olympic Committee's decision to reinstate Russia's national Olympic committee, the FIVB has announced the return of Russian volleyball players to international competition — Russia currently ranks third in the world. Former Poland national team coach Ireneusz Mazur expressed frustration and floated the idea of boycotting matches against Russia, a move that could carry significant financial costs for Polish volleyball. "It cannot be that there's a war abroad while we play volleyball with Russia," Mazur said.
