Polish government unveils court reform: remote hearings, e-documents, less red tape

The Polish government presented the framework for its "Deregulation 2.0" judicial reform on Thursday. Key proposals include remote criminal hearings, electronic bills of exchange, e-documents accepted in land registers, an overhaul of court expert systems, broader powers for court referendaries, and the abolition of the enforcement clause for final judgments. The reforms aim to make Polish courts faster and more digital.
