Medical council and health ministry to tackle doctors' pay disparities together

The Supreme Medical Council (NRL) will cooperate with the Ministry of Health to eliminate excessive pay disparities among doctors, NRL president Dr Łukasz Jankowski announced after meeting Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda. The issue concerns situations where some physicians earn many times more than colleagues in equivalent roles. Details of the planned measures are to be worked out jointly by both sides.
