Polish doctors demand triple average salary to switch from contracts to employment
Łukasz Jankowski, head of the Supreme Medical Council, said after meeting Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda that a salary of three times the national average would encourage specialist doctors to move from contracts to employment agreements. The minister stated that doctors' pay does not directly affect patients' situation. Talks between the medical community and the government are ongoing.
