Humanoid robot "Surgie" performs successful surgery autonomously — published in Nature

Humanoid robot "Surgie," standing 1.5 metres tall and weighing 27 kg, successfully performed two pre-clinical operations on large non-primate mammals. In the first, it worked alongside a human assistant to remove a gallbladder; in the second, two robots operated together without human assistance. The results were published in the July issue of the journal Nature.
