Record TV licence debt equals price of a new Kia Sportage

The largest recorded TV licence debt in Poland equals the value of a new Kia Sportage, a recreational plot by a lake, or 1,370 treasury bonds, according to Ministry of Finance data. The debt accumulated over many years before being handed to tax authorities for enforcement. Prior to that, Polish Post sent the debtor payment demands in line with standard procedures.
