Five sins only the Vatican can absolve – ordinary priests lack the authority

Canon law reserves absolution for five serious sins exclusively to the Holy See, meaning ordinary confessors cannot grant forgiveness for them. The information was shared by Fr. Adam Wilczyński on Radio eM Kielce. The sins include profanation of the Eucharist and violation of the seal of confession.
