Obajtek joins hunger strike of Inowrocław salt miners until Friday
Former Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek has joined a hunger strike by miners at the Inowrocław "Solino" salt mines, pledging to protest until Friday. The miners oppose the planned sale of assets belonging to Qemetica (formerly Ciech) to German company K+S. Strikers are calling on the Polish state to take over the assets, as Qemetica is the primary buyer of brine from the Inowrocław mines.
