Domański denies blocking recovery of 174.5 million PLN Gazprom penalty

Following a court victory, Poland's UOKiK and the Tax Office are trying to recover a 174.5 million PLN fine from Gazprom using the Russian giant's frozen assets. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański denied reports that his decisions were obstructing the recovery, stating: "The finance minister is not blocking this in any way." The case centres on whether the funds can be seized from frozen Russian assets held in Poland.
