Health Experts Call Poland's NHS Rescue Plan 'Symptomatic Treatment' Only
Anna Gołębicka of the National Health Fund Council described Poland's healthcare system as deeply dysfunctional, saying "the abscess has burst, the milk has spilled and the lid has crashed down – we have seen enormous pathologies." Appearing on the Newsroom programme, experts Klaudiusz Komor and Bolesław Piecha also assessed the Health Ministry's newly announced rescue plan. All three critics concluded the plan addresses only symptoms rather than the systemic roots of the crisis.
