UK to lead $50 bn NATO initiative for long-range precision strike capability

The United Kingdom will lead a NATO initiative aimed at boosting European capacity for precision long-range strikes. A total of $50 billion has been earmarked for the programme. It is one of the largest defence investment announcements made within the alliance in recent years.
