Saunasaari – Finland's sauna-only island opens near Helsinki

On June 26, Saunasaari opened near Helsinki — an island on the Baltic dedicated entirely to sauna bathing. The project responds to growing interest in Finnish sauna culture, considered a national ritual. The island offers an experience well beyond standard urban public saunas.
