Australia and India to sign uranium deal as Modi draws 30,000-strong crowd
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Indian PM Narendra Modi are set to sign a major uranium supply deal, ending more than a decade of delays despite the two countries having already signed a nuclear cooperation pact. Modi's visit is drawing strong support from the Indian diaspora, with around 30,000 people expected at a Marvel Stadium event in Melbourne.
