A year on, Ząbki fire victims still pay mortgages on uninhabitable flats

A year after a devastating fire in Ząbki near Warsaw, displaced residents are still paying mortgages on flats they cannot inhabit, dealing with burnt-out wiring and mould on walls. The victims have written to Prime Minister Donald Tusk seeking government assistance. Their living conditions remain dire with no clear path to returning home.
