Judge orders Trump to pay E. Jean Carroll $5.8M in sex abuse case

A judge has ordered Donald Trump to release $5.8 million held in escrow since 2023, when a jury found he had sexually abused and defamed former Elle magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll. The judge ruled that Trump had been deliberately stalling the case and that it was time to pay up.
