Polish Senate rejects KRRiT report over links to TV Republika
The Polish Senate voted on Wednesday to reject the National Broadcasting Council's (KRRiT) 2025 annual report, citing its perceived support for TV Republika and mismanagement of licence fee revenue. Senators did, however, accept the 2025 activity report of the National Media Council. The vote reflects ongoing tensions between the current parliamentary majority and broadcasting bodies linked to the previous government.
