ZUS delivers pensions in cash — one application is all it takes

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) pays out nearly 7 million pensions every month. Around 85% of pensioners receive their money via bank transfer, while the remaining 15% opt for cash delivery, which ZUS arranges upon submission of a single application. The cash option is delivered by post or collected in person.
