CAA Slams Meta's Muse AI Tool for Opt-Out Rather Than Opt-In Consent

Talent agency CAA has publicly criticised Meta for making its Muse AI video and photo generation tool opt-out, meaning users must actively choose to be excluded. In a statement issued Wednesday night, CAA said no one's name, image, likeness, voice or creative work should be used by AI models without clear, documented consent. The agency called on Meta to move to an explicit opt-in model.
