Lawrence Kasdan earns double Emmy nod for Martin Short documentary
Filmmaker Lawrence Kasdan received two Emmy nominations on Wednesday for "Marty, Life Is Short," the documentary he produced and directed about his 40-year friend Martin Short. The film is up for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special, among other categories. Kasdan also reflected on career milestones including cutting Kevin Costner from "The Big Chill" and casting Geena Davis in "The Accidental Tourist."
