Meta to invest $9.1 billion in first AI data center in Canada

Meta announced on Wednesday it will invest more than 13 billion Canadian dollars ($9.1 billion USD) to build its first artificial intelligence data center in Canada. The facility will be the company's largest AI data center outside the United States. The investment is aimed at expanding AI infrastructure to support Facebook and Instagram.
