'The Pitt' actors Brittany Allen and Jeff Kober earn Emmy noms after self-submitting

Brittany Allen and Jeff Kober earned Emmy nominations for guest star roles in "The Pitt" after self-submitting, as HBO did not include them in its official studio submissions. HBO chief Casey Bloys explained that the show has hundreds of performers and the studio cannot strategically submit everyone. Bloys said HBO actively encourages self-submission in such cases.
