US strikes Iran again — explosions near Bandar Abbas, aim to secure Strait of Hormuz

US forces carried out a new wave of strikes on Iran targeting Tehran's ability to threaten shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Explosions were heard near the Iranian cities of Bandar Abbas and Bandar Sirik. CENTCOM stated the operation will continue until Iran stops attacking commercial vessels.
