MenB vaccine offers men no protection against gonorrhoea, major study finds
A major study has concluded that the Meningitis B (MenB) vaccine does not protect men against gonorrhoea infections, despite being offered to at-risk groups on that basis. Earlier research had suggested a possible cross-protective effect, but the new findings contradict those hopes. Scientists are calling for the development of a dedicated gonorrhoea vaccine.
