Greenlanders Reject Trump's Renewed Push for U.S. Control of the Island

Greenlanders at a traditional kayaking championship in Nuuk on Wednesday rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's renewed call for American control of the Arctic island. Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, Trump again argued that Greenland is vital to U.S. national security. Locals insist that Greenland's future must be decided by Greenlanders themselves.
