Jastrzębski Węgiel relegated for financial reasons – Ukrainian team to replace them

Jastrzębski Węgiel, one of Poland's most storied volleyball clubs, has been forced out of the PlusLiga top division due to financial reasons, despite retaining their sporting status on the court. A Ukrainian team will take their place in the 2025/26 season, keeping top-level volleyball in the Silesian city. The Ukrainian club's name and its president have already been announced.
