Gen. Polko: Polish Fighting Spirit Is Strong Despite Army Shortfalls

Gen. Roman Polko, former GROM commander, pushed back against pessimistic voices claiming Poland would fall to Russia within two days. He was responding to a "Rzeczpospolita" report suggesting only two of Poland's six divisions would be combat-ready within hours of an attack. Polko acknowledged shortfalls exist but stressed that the Polish soldier's spirit remains strong. He made the remarks on Radio Zet.
