Obsidian making new Fallout RPG — Avowed 2 cancelled

According to Jason Schreier's sources, Microsoft layoffs have led to the Fallout franchise returning to Obsidian Entertainment under Josh Sawyer. The studio is now working on a new post-apocalyptic Fallout RPG. As a result, the sequel to Avowed has been cancelled.
