New browser extension flags knock-off products on Amazon

A new browser extension has been released to help Amazon shoppers identify and avoid knock-off products sold under obscure, invented brand names. The tool effectively highlights so-called "alphabet-soup brands," but also lays bare just how widespread the problem of counterfeit and low-quality goods is on the platform.
