US court blocks Trump's name from returning to the Kennedy Center

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Wednesday ruled against Kennedy Center's bid to keep Donald Trump's name on the institution while it appeals a lower court's removal order. A federal court on May 29, 2026 had ordered Trump's name removed. The appeals court dismissed claims that the centre would suffer financial decline without the Trump name as unsupported by facts.
