French humanoid robot Northstar aims to give EU autonomy from US and China

A French start-up has unveiled the Northstar humanoid robot, positioning it as Europe's answer to US and Chinese dominance in the autonomous robot market. The project aims to give the European Union technological sovereignty in the field of humanoid robotics. Until now, Europe has been largely absent from the global race to develop and commercialise autonomous humanoid robots.
