Poland's parliament passes tax-free investment accounts law

Poland's parliament passed a law on 3 July creating Obywatelskie Konta Inwestycyjne (Citizens' Investment Accounts). The accounts will allow Poles to invest free of capital gains tax (the so-called Belka tax) up to set thresholds. The aim is to encourage long-term private savings and wealth-building.
