Roberto Martinez leaves Portugal after World Cup last-16 exit to Spain

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has confirmed that Roberto Martinez is leaving his role as national team coach. The decision comes after Portugal were eliminated by Spain in the last 16 of the World Cup. Martinez had been in charge of the national side since 2022.
