David Attenborough, 100, breaks record as oldest Emmy nominee ever

Sir David Attenborough, who turned 100 in May 2025, earned two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Narrator, becoming the oldest nominee in the award's history. He was recognised for his narration of the Netflix documentary "A Gorilla Story: Told by David Attenborough" and a National Geographic production. A documentary about Mel Brooks also received recognition in the nominations.
