"Fruit Gathering," directed by Aung Phyoe, follows two young women working in a textile factory in Myanmar who dream of intimacy and escape despite their gruelling daily routines. The film marks the first Burmese production ever selected for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
