Euclid telescope finds 31 ancient quasars, some from the universe's first 770 million years

The Euclid space telescope has detected 31 extremely distant quasars, some of which were shining when the universe was less than 770 million years old. The discovery could help solve one of cosmology's hardest puzzles: how supermassive black holes grew so quickly in the early universe. Scientists believe these ancient quasars hold crucial clues about the formation of cosmic structure after the Big Bang.
