YouTube's Subway Takes earns first Emmy nod as Dropout shut out again
Kareem Rahma's viral YouTube series Subway Takes, which conducts man-on-the-street interviews on New York City's subway with guests including Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Lopez, has received its first Emmy nomination in the outstanding short form comedy, drama or variety series category. The Television Academy is cautiously opening its doors to internet creators, though streaming platform Dropout was again shut out of nominations.
