EU Parliament passes UPA resolution — Budka praises it, Ozdoba attacks it
The European Parliament has adopted a resolution on the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), including an amendment rejecting the glorification of the Bandera movement. MEP Borys Budka of Civic Coalition (KO) hailed it as a clear signal to Ukraine, while Jacek Ozdoba of Law and Justice (PiS) accused Tusk's and Czarzasty's circles of blocking stronger language that would have explicitly labelled Bandera followers as bandits and genocidaires.
