Świątek enters WTA 1000 Toronto tournament after Wimbledon third-round exit

Iga Świątek, who was eliminated in the third round of Wimbledon and failed to defend her title from last year, has entered the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto. World number one Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus will also compete. Toronto gives Świątek an opportunity to recover form and ranking points after her Wimbledon disappointment.
