44 Nobel laureates urge Zelensky and Putin to agree a ceasefire

Forty-four Nobel Prize laureates signed an open letter to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, calling for a ceasefire as an "act of humanitarianism". The appeal was published simultaneously by French daily Le Monde and Russian independent outlet Nowaja Gazieta. The signatories did not specify conditions for the truce.
