Australians with cancer living longer, but childhood vaccination rates falling

Australia's biennial health report from the AIHW shows the five-year survival rate for cancer patients has risen from 50% to 72% over 30 years. However, the same report raises alarm over falling childhood vaccination rates and rising cases of measles, diphtheria and whooping cough. Health experts have expressed serious concern about the long-term public health consequences of declining immunisation.
