Allianz Partners to replace up to 1,800 workers with AI

Allianz Partners has announced it will cut between 1,500 and 1,800 jobs from its nearly 23,000-strong workforce, citing the adoption of artificial intelligence as the driving factor. The move is one of the largest AI-driven redundancy programmes announced by a major insurer. The company said the changes are intended to automate tasks currently performed by staff.
