Academy Museum launches horror exhibition with Carrie 50th anniversary and Carpenter retrospective
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will launch a major 10-month exhibition called "The Horror Show," celebrating the art and craft of horror cinema. Accompanying events include a 50th anniversary screening of Carrie featuring Sissy Spacek and the John Carpenter: Prince of Darkness retrospective series. The exhibition opens in September and represents one of the museum's most ambitious programmes in recent years.
