Polish Health Ministry to cap doctor salaries funded by NFZ

Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda announced plans to introduce maximum individual salary levels and spending caps on wages in hospitals funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ). The ministry is also working on regulations to combat extreme pay disparities. The changes aim to curb cases where some doctors earn many times more than other medical staff.
