Polish MiG-29s won't go to Ukraine — deputy minister says European countries are interested

Deputy Defence Minister Stanisław Wziątek told TOK FM radio that Poland's MiG-29 fighter jets will not be sent to Ukraine, but that there is significant European interest in the aircraft. He said the jets will find a place within the European security system, though he did not name the specific countries interested. Poland is gradually phasing out its MiG-29s as it transitions to more modern aircraft.
