Histamine-boosting drug improves memory by around 10 per cent
A drug that raises histamine levels in the brain has been found to boost human memory by around 10 per cent, according to new research. Histamine is best known for triggering allergy symptoms, but the study shows it also plays a significant role in cognitive function. The finding could open new avenues for treating memory disorders and neurodegenerative diseases.
