EU Parliament passes UPA resolution, calls Zelensky's move "unnecessary escalation"
The European Parliament passed a resolution on Wednesday criticising Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to name an elite military unit "Heroes of the UPA." MEPs called it "an unnecessary escalation that harms good-neighbourly relations." The resolution expresses regret over the move and states it is incompatible with European values.
