Egypt builds desert capital with world's longest automated monorail

Egypt is constructing a new Administrative Capital (NAC) in the desert, intended to relieve overcrowded Cairo. The city is envisioned as a modern hub for younger generations. It will be linked to Cairo by an automated monorail system set to become the longest of its kind in the world.
