ESMA to assess crypto custody risks following MiCA transition

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has announced it will assess risks related to crypto asset custody following the MiCA regulatory transition. The review will focus on custody providers' private key management, incident response procedures and their reliance on third-party technology providers.
