New Big Bang Theory sci-fi spin-off debuts in two weeks

A new sci-fi spin-off of The Big Bang Theory is officially set to debut in two weeks. At its peak, the original CBS sitcom averaged 18–20 million viewers per episode and became one of television's biggest comedy franchises over nearly two decades. The franchise has already spawned three major spin-offs.
