Infant smog exposure linked to impulsivity and obesity in later life

A new study shows that infants exposed to air pollution absorb higher levels of neurotoxins, leading to greater difficulty controlling impulses later in life. Researchers warn that this impulsivity can in turn raise the risk of obesity. The findings highlight serious long-term health consequences of smog exposure during the earliest stage of life.
